Winter Band Update

Hey KJ fans! Hope you are keeping warm this winter! Just a quick note to update you on the band. Big news is that bassist Dave Kendrick will be leaving the band within the next month or so to pursue other interests. We will miss Dave tremendously and thank him for all of his contributions to the band and to our music. All the best Dave and remember to always, always ROCK ON!! We are currently working with Rick Swenson, a young and talented local musician, who will eventually take over for Dave to provide the "bottom-end" energy for the band on bass. Rick will be doing a few sets here and there over our next few live shows so you can get a sneek-peek and listen to what he brings to the table. We think you will be quite pleased. We are all extremely excited about Rick joining the band! Meanwhile sales of our first CD are going strong! I know I've said it a million times however I can't say thank you enough to all of you who have supported the band since we came out with "What's On The Way" last July. However, I can tell you that we always need your help in spreading the word about the CD and about the band. As you know, Indie bands depend heavily on their fans and following for marketing and promotion. We are no exception. So all we humbly ask of you is that you tell somebody about us, our band, our web site, our CD, whether it be in person, by email, voice mail, text, facebook, myspace, tweet or whatever!! You are our biggest marketing tool to help us get CD's sold and to help promote the band! On another note, I have been working intensely on writing, editing and selecting songs and material for our next CD, which we plan to begin working together on later this fall. Until then, we will continue to practice hard each week and simply enjoy rocking out with you and doing the live gigs at local and some not-so-local establishments! Hope to see you soon at a show! Peace, David.........a.k.a..........Dubble D
