Turkey Day Update

First and foremost to all of our beloved Khaos Junkie fans...............THANK YOU for all of your support! We truly appreciate it. We want to take this opportunity to wish you and your families a safe and Happy Thanksgiving. Now for a quick update on the band..........A wise man told me that "nothing changes if nothing changes". How true, how true! Most of you know that our awesome lead guitarist, Rich Dacier, will be leaving the band to pursue other opportunities come the first of the upcoming year. We will all miss Rich, not only for his incredible talent on lead guitar, but for who he is as a person. Not only will Rich's sweet guitar tones be missed by all but so won't his contribution and dedication to the band. We wish him the best of luck in his new venture and know that we are not saying good bye for good, but rather just "so long for now, we will see ya soon to jam again"!! It took awhile but the band has finally found another lead guitarist. His name is Dave Cuneo. Dave will be playing a set or two during the band's next couple of gigs and will take over on lead guitar for Rich Dacier in January, 2012. We welcome Dave to the band and feel that he will be a huge compliment to the band's raw rock sound. We all look forward to working with Dave. The band's second CD project had to be put on hold this fall due to the attention given to find a new lead guitarist. I am incredibly anxious to get back to work on the project with the band during the winter months. As with any new project we realize there will be a huge time commitment needed to making this CD even better than the first. Everyone is excited and looking forward to getting into the studio hopefully sometime in mid-2012. We will keep you posted. Lastly, we were just informed that Ted Lanman, our kick-ass sound man, will be leaving the band as well come the first of 2012 for personal reasons. Ted has been the rock behind our "ROCK", and he will be truly missed. Ted has offered to stay on as needed as new sound man, Bob Bishop gets a handle on the band's sound. We look forward to working with Bob. That's it for now...........Hope to see ya at our next show! Peace, David.........a.k.a..........Dubble D
